Pixels, not print inches
These controls set pixel dimensions. Enlarging an image does not recover missing detail. For printing, divide pixel dimensions by your intended print resolution to estimate the size in inches.
What size should I use for a website image?
Match the dimensions needed by your layout rather than uploading the full camera image. Keep the aspect-ratio lock on to avoid distortion, then compress the resized copy if needed.
